The Sharks continue to create their own history, with their League, Reserves and Rogers Cup sides
storming into the finals.
The League side capped off a stellar home and away season last Sunday, defeating cross town rivals
South Fremantle by 129 points to claim outright 1st place on the ladder. This Sunday they take on
Peel Thunder at East Fremantle Oval at 2:30pm in the second semi-final. The winner books a place
straight through to the Grand Final. The teams have met twice this year, with each taking home a

Reserves also finished the season strongly, defeating the Bulldogs by 10 goals. They ended the
season in 4th place, and now play Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval at Midday on Sunday in the 1st
semi final. The teams have met 3 times already this season, with the Sharks winning two of those

And finally, the Sharks Rogers Cup team will play in their first finals series. They started off Sunday’s
trifecta of wins by defeating 2nd placed South Fremantle by 1 goal in a thrilling match. The Sharks
consolidated 3rd spot on the ladder and now take on Swans, also at Bassendean, with the match
commencing at 10:30am. When the two teams met earlier in the season, the Swans won the first
match up but the Sharks have won the last two.
Although the teams will play across two venues, the Sharks will be united as one Club on Sunday,
with the ultimate goal of having all three in the Grand Final on Sunday 26th.
